Report Bullying
KSSB is committed to providing a safe and respectful learning environment for all students and staff. Bullying is strictly prohibited.
What is Bullying?
In Kansas, bullying means any intentional gesture or any intentional written, verbal, electronic, or physical act or threat by any student, staff member, or parent towards a student or staff member that is severe, persistent, or pervasive enough to:
- Harm a student or staff member, physically or mentally.
- Damage a student’s or staff member’s property.
- Place a student or staff member in reasonable fear of harm to themselves or their property.
This includes cyberbullying, which is bullying using any electronic communication device (like emails, texts, social media, online games). It also covers any other form of intimidation or harassment prohibited by our school’s policy.
This policy applies to bullying that happens:
- on school property.
- in a school vehicle.
- at any school-sponsored activity or event.

What Happens Next?
When a report of bullying is received, our school will:
- listen carefully to your concerns.
- conduct a prompt and thorough investigation, respecting privacy.
- take appropriate steps to stop the bullying and prevent it from recurring.
- ensure that there is no retaliation against anyone who reports bullying in good faith, or against a victim or witness.
We are dedicated to addressing bullying and providing support. Our school also implements training and education for staff and students as part of our anti-bullying plan.
Remember: Reporting bullying is a crucial step towards a safer school community. We are here to help and support you.
